Jarod van Eijsden
At Monitor Capital, Jarod focuses on Public Markets, centred on fund selection, the core-satellite approach and the development of in-house tools and models. Alongside his studies he built up experience as founder of Black Bit Capital and Ad Astra Capital, a student hedge fund at Erasmus University focused on discretionary and quantitative investment strategies.
Jarod earned his Bachelor of International Business Economics at Maastricht University, studied at Copenhagen Business School, and is currently completing his MSc Finance & Investments at Rotterdam School of Management. This summer he is further specialising in Machine Learning in Finance at Harvard Business School, and he holds a CFA Level I certification. Outside the office he can usually be found on the padel court.
